Pioneer Days 2017

The theme for this years Pioneer Days Parade and Festival is Beach Party Englewood Style.  Even though the event is three months away preparations are underway to ensure another spectacular Festival.

Nominations for the Grand Marshall are currently open,  Deadline for Grand Marshall Nominations will be on August 1st and the announcement for Grand Marshall will be on August 4th.

August 19. Little Miss / Mr Englewood Pageant will be held at the Lemon Bay High School Auditorium.

August 20.    Family Bowling Tournament to support the moving of the Green Street Church.




August 26.
   Chalkfest 6.0   Hosted by the Englewood Arts Center the event will be held in the middle of downtown Dearborn Street.


August 26.     Kids ShipWreck Dance.  Kids 9-15 will enjoy dancing and pizza with the sounds of great music provided by DJ with a PA.

August 27.     Michael O’Donnell Fish-A-Thon at the Tom Adams Bridge for kids up to 12 years of age.

August 27.     Historical Tour Around Englewood conducted by the Englewood Historical Society.

August 29.    Green St. Church Sing Along.

Sept. 2 .          Cardboard Boat Races at the Indian Mound Park.

Sept. 2.        Shipwreck Dance & Taste of Englewood.   Shipwreck Dance held at Pioneer Park starting at 5 pm.  Bring chairs and blankets.

Sept. 3.         Diaper Derby offered by the Lemon Bay Women’s Club, located at the corner of Maple and Cocoanut in Olde Englewood.

Sept. 3.        Pioneer Days Festival & Open Car Show.   Pioneer Days Festival at Pioneer Park on Dearborn St.  Sunday September 3, 2017  12-8pm   Monday September 4, 2017  8-3pm.

Sept. 4.        Corvette Car Show.
